Norwegian citizen missing in Cambodia

Norwegian citizen Thuan Duc Nguyen (52) has been missing in Phnom Penh, Cambodia for six days, according to a statement from his family.

Nguyen was in Phnom Penh together with an Australian colleague, who is also reported missing.

The trip was related to an assignment for an international Vietnamese organization that works for human rights and improved conditions for Vietnamese people in Vietnam.

The family fears that Nguyen may have been subjected to a politically motivated arrest.
